It is three weeks since we launched and it was incredible to see people adopting our rabbits and giving them the life they deserve. Kith Rabbit user base did not explode just yet, but the usage increased 10`000% — a perfect storm of better accessibility and capabilities of the agents.
What is remarkable and makes us a solid business is that we managed to reduce the costs per active user while growing. Even a month ago we were not sure if we can pull it off, but now we did it and the future of Haah, Inc. and our rabbits seems bright.
Bright
We were first to conceptualize Human Agent Agent Human and it is fun now to see competitors with much-much more capital like Muse or Instinct slowly catching up with what we invented. First movers in a new space rarely maintain the edge and are usually swallowed by companies with better execution and more capital.
We are an outlier and will emerge strong from the obscurity. If you are reading this — you are witnessing what happens when a crazy enough founder bets everything they got on one goal: to build a great company and a great product.
We started sales this week, and received a message:
“I got the ultra subscription as I really like the agent”
They were fitting into the Pro sub (17.99USD/m), but got the Ultra(39.99USD/m) because they love the product.
Love proved by sales is a signal you never ignore: small group of people loving the product AND paying for it is the foundation from where you can build.
Build
Now when we show growth a lot of people want to join or partake in our success. Or come over and advise.
Most of them are telling us that we should do something else entirely. Like drop agent or forgo our vertical integration and put agent on WhatsApp instead of maintaining user experience only possible with vertical integration.
I constantly hear: you cannot compete as a messenger, you cannot compete as an agent, you cannot be a super app. You do not know what you are doing. You have to focus.
Focus
As NfX founders pointed out “Focus, focus, focus“ is the universal advice any VC can give to a startup and somewhat add value. Maybe it is really the only advice you can give. Which makes it a universal formula people repeat without going too much into details of what makes or breaks your business.
Yes, we need to focus. The question is what is the core for Haah, Inc. and Kith Rabbit experience? The way I think about it is like a garden.
Garden
What we made is a way to nurture your people network: either very personal one (~500) or wide one (~50k), keep it close and rich with your insights, keep it growing and ultimately find the right people at the right time. Which is leading to the right opportunities at the right time. Which means you are reaching your goals.
It makes the garden damn important. And a garden needs a gardener: meet the rabbit. Kith Rabbit is the garden and the gardener in one product and this is what makes it so powerful. Instead of manually adding people to the map (which you can totally do sometimes) you just talk to your Kith and it does it.
It also keeps you on track with your daily schedule, remembers things for you, connects the dots and reminds you what matters. Who knew a gardener could be a great personal assistant or even a chief of staff?!
Chief
The agent is the play. I named the company Human Agent Agent Human because I discovered that an agent in the loop can really help people to meaningfully connect.
For us focus means that we will keep iterating on this vision while listening to our customers over anybody else. In a near future each of us will have a preferred agent. For me and people who put their trust in Haah, Inc. the agent of choice will be Kith Rabbit. And it will continue connecting you to the right people at the right time. But it will also do thing like never before, like in last few weeks it learned to:
Make posters and small infographics fast.
Read and send emails from his or your address.
Listen to conversations and capture quotes in real time.
Explain it’s own interface with interactive pointers.
Collect direct feedback and send it to me.
You might ask how posters help to connect people. Let me give you a real example. One of our customers is a recruiter and he surprised me another day he: 1) put all 17k people he met in Kith Rabbit 2) found best candidate for a job with it 3) asked rabbit to make individual card for each person showcasing what they strong at and presenting them well and sent this directly to the client.
We built an intelligent tool with a clear mission, our dear customers find incredibly creative ways to use it. Rabbit is genuinely helpful.
Helpful
Nothing is more important for me: software has to be genuinely useful. This is why I’m mass-producing cute rabbits now. This is why I was building websites when I was thirteen. Nothing gives me more joy than to see technology helping humans.
This is who I am and this is why I bet everything I got on Haah, Inc. and our first product Kith Rabbit.
